Do they have a date for magic band starting at Disneyland

    Hiya, Larry!

Welcome BACK to planDisney! We haven't seen you in about a yEAR, but it's so great to help you with yet another Disneyland Resort vacation planning question!

This is a great question, Larry. We haven't yet hEARd when MagicBand+ will arrive at Disneyland Resort. In fact, the only official word we have is a super short statement from the Destination D23 event last yEAR that just states "Disneyland is getting MagicBand+ in 2022." I still have hope that we'll see this launch in the next four-ish months. But I have a Spidey sense that we'll hEAR more about the 'when' and 'what' all these cool colorful bracelets will be able to do on the West Coast at the upcoming D23 Expo, which is being held September 9th - 11th. The news released in these sessions usually also debuts on the Disney Parks Blog not too long after, so be sure to keep up with the DPB across all of your social media channels that weekend so you'll be sure to not miss an update.

I can tell you that your trip is a few weeks after the Halloween Season kicks off at The Happiest Place on Earth! Get ready to 'boo' this with your favorite characters in their costumes, certain attractions with Halloween holiday overlays, and spooky treats, eats, and sweets! There are even Halloween items already listed on ShopDisney so you can be the first pumpkin to the patch!

I'm so sorry that this didn't help to answer your question, Larry. Be sure to keep up with the official planDisney Panel Instagram account where we're sharing all kinds of Disneyland tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
