    Is there a date for the Magic Band Plus coming out?

    Hi Amanda!

    I love using MagicBands during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Not only are they a fun vacation accessory, but they make enjoying your trip so easy and convenient. It's so nice to have access to your theme park tickets, Lightning Lane reservations and Disney PhotoPass account with just the touch of your MagicBand. Plus, if you are a Disney Resort hotel Guest, then you can use your MagicBand to access your room and make purchases throughout the resort that will be charged to your room account.

    I'm so excited to hear about MagicBand+, which will upgrade our favorite MagicBands with several new features. It will be wonderful to interact with the theme parks and nighttime spectaculars in new ways! While we know that MagicBand+ will debut as part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration, we don't have any specific information about the timeline for their debut. I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements and hopefully, we hear about the debut of MagicBand+ in time for your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
