    What date do the Christmas lights begin?

    In 2007, the holiday festivities began on November 12 and ran until January 6, 2008.

    When we have arrived in early November we've watched as the resorts underwent their grand transformations. The Grand Floridian's gingerbread house was nearing completion by November 13 of our stay in 2006. When we checked in to the Beach Club Resort the chocolate carousel was beginning to take shape. We stopped each day to watch more chocolate decorations being added. Oh, and the smell was wonderful!

    By the time we left the Beach Club just a few days later, the entire resort had been magically transformed. We woke one morning to find Christmas trees, wreaths, garlands and lights throughout the resort. Our son was certain that elves had been at work all night.

    The Magic Kingdom had was already decked out!
