Happy holidays, Rebecca! Mickey and his pals do some of the best holiday decorating that I’ve ever seen! The Disney Parks and Disney Resort Hotels always look merry and bright during the most wonderful time of the year!
The holiday decorations usually begin to appear the day after Halloween. Magic Kingdom Park is usually the first to get the holiday treatment due to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party taking place in early November. The other parks and resort hotels follow. The Christmas decorations then come down fairly quickly after New Year's Eve with most being gone during the first week of January. I see you are arriving on December 29. If seeing a holiday-decorated Walt Disney World Resort is at the top of your wish list, then you’re likely to see all that there is to offer!
Rebecca, if you’re a big fan of Christmas, be sure to spend time in Magic Kingdom Park during your visit! Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade is usually performed during regular theme park hours from December 22 or 23 through New Year's Eve! This is also the time for the special Christmas-themed fireworks show at Magic Kingdom Park!
Of course, you can always visit
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe at Magic Kingdom Park. This winter wonderland of a store is open year-round for Guests to enjoy! Additionally,
Disney's Days of Christmas at Disney Springs is also available year-round!
Dreams do come true!
