I have date based tickets from 27th until the 14th of August. As it's a date based tickets, can I booked all of my lightning lane multi passes 3 days before hand? E.g. can I book multipasses for all of the days I visit from the 24th of July ? Thank you

Welcome to planDisney David, and thanks for stopping by with your question! It sounds like you’re getting ready for a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort this summer! With your dates just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to start thinking about your park plans and how to take advantage of Lightning Lane Passes to make the most of every moment. I’d be happy to walk you through how the booking windows work so you’ll be ready to book those must do attractions with confidence.

Since you have date based tickets, you’ll be able to make your Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections starting three days in advance of each park day, beginning at 7:00 AM Eastern Time each morning.

So, for example, you can begin booking your Lightning Lane selections for July 27 starting on July 24 at 7:00 AM. Then on July 25, you'll be able to make selections for July 28, and so on following a rolling three day booking window. This means you won’t be able to book Lightning Lane Multi Passes for your entire trip all at once on July 24th.

However, if you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel or another participating hotel, the booking window works a little differently. Resort guests can begin booking Lightning Lane Multi Passes seven days before their check-in date and they can book for their entire length of stay (up to 14 days) at that time. This early access can be a great advantage if you're hoping to reserve some of the more popular attractions.

If you're not staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can still enjoy early planning, just on a day-by-day basis starting three days ahead of each visit.

David, I hope you find this information helpful as you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
