What's a date based ticket? I have a military salute tickets, is that a date based ticket

    Howdy Jeffery!

Welcome to planDisney. First of all, let me say Thank You for your family’s service. I absolutely love that Walt Disney World is saluting US military personnel by offering promotional theme park tickets. Let’s jump into your question so we can get you on your way.

Date-based tickets are typically standard tickets guests purchase, where they choose the dates they will visit when they purchase. These tickets do not require a park reservation. Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Tickets do require a park reservation for the dates you would like to visit. The good news is that you can do this easily through the Walt Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app. From the website homepage, hover your cursor over My Plans in the top right-hand corner and log in. Once logged in, hover your cursor over My Plans again and click Make A Reservation. Choose Guests with Tickets or Annual Passes, or the other option if you have a Hotel Reservation. Next, create your party, then choose your date and park on the next screen. Using the app, tap on the 3 bars in the bottom right-hand corner, then scroll down to Park Reservations. Next, follow the same steps I described for the website, and you will be good to go.

Since you will be there, I have to tell you about one of the best festivals of the year, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. You can embark on a culinary adventure across 6 continents, experiencing unique food, drinks, and desserts at kiosks all throughout the World Showcase. You can also experience the Eat to the Beat Concert series with performers you know and love. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updated information.

Jeffery, I hope that you and your family have a magical time visiting Walt Disney World. Please stop by anytime with your questions, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

    See ya real soon,
    Robert
