Disneyland Halloweeen

Brenda from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I see the date is available to visit Disneyland on the calendar but when I use my prepaid tickets it will not let me choose that date.

    Hi Brenda, welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for bringing your question to us, I'll do my best to help!

The Disneyland Resort uses a ticketing Tier system for standard one-day theme park tickets. This means the price of the ticket will vary depending on the theme park reservation date that you select. Tickets currently range from Tier 1 to Tier 6. Tier 1 has the most restrictions in terms of eligible reservation dates and Tier 6 has the least number of restrictions. The ticket that you purchase will be valid for admission on the date you selected and on dates in the same or lower tier. Peak demand days, like holidays and weekends, are typically higher Tier days. So if you have a standard one-day theme park ticket, it could potentially be a lower Tier ticket, preventing you from booking days that require a higher Tier ticket. But don't worry you still have options! You can call the Disneyland Resort Ticket Line at 714-781-4636, and the Cast Members can help you upgrade your ticket!

Another check you can do is to make sure you do not have a current reservation already booked. If you do, you'll need to cancel your current theme park reservation, and book a new one for your preferred date. You can check by logging in to your Disneyland Resort account, selecting the "My Disneyland" link, and then clicking the "Ticket and Reservation Details" link.
