Hi Paulette,
Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to visit us with your question. Since the
Disneyland Resort theme parks
reopened in April 2021 after the COVID pandemic forced the shutdown, Guests are now required to make
theme park reservations for entry. Although you can buy tickets at a Main Entrance ticket booth, you’ll still need to link the tickets to your Disney account (on
Disneyland.com or
Disneyland mobile app) and make a theme park reservation prior to entry. Unfortunately, if the theme park reservation for the day you wish to visit is no longer available (meaning, the parks have reached capacity), you will not be able to enter. I recommend that you: 1) keep checking to see if other Guests cancel their theme park reservations, which in turn will allow you to book yours, or 2) reserve for a day that is available. That way, you’ll be confirmed and guaranteed the opportunity to experience the pixie-dusted magic!
If you have more trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to
write us again. We’re all EARS!
See ya real soon,
Kiki
