    What date are annual passes active? Time of purchase or first use?

    Hello, James,

    Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel about Annual Passes. The Annual Passes become active when you activate them.  For example, I purchased one online in the fall of 2016, but I didn't activate it until I arrived at Walt Disney World in December.  It then became active in December.  My expiration date for the pass is  based on my activation date rather than purchase date.  The link I provided above shares a lot of other information about Annual Passes, including benefits, if you have further questions.  Of course, we are here to answers questions, too!
