Greetings, Tiffanie! Welcome back to planDisney.
I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be blasting off to
Walt Disney World Resort this summer! Whether you're saving the galaxy on
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind or entering the Grid on
TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise, you're sure to find adventure around every corner. I'd love to help you navigate the world of
virtual queues on your upcoming visit!
Tiffanie, I visited Walt Disney World Resort last May with my parents who utilized the
Disability Access Service (DAS) on our trip. This program is a wonderful way to make sure that no Guest misses a minute of the magic! When planning your upcoming trip, I'd recommend keeping an eye on the
attractions available for Guests using DAS. While these attractions are subject to change, this list typically includes attractions that do not utilize
virtual queues. The Disability Access Service is a great resource for Guests who need extra assistance and are unable to tolerate traditional queues due to a disability. Since virtual queues offer lower wait times and quicker access to these attractions, this serves as a similar resource. With that being said, Guests who utilize DAS will still need to access virtual queues for those attractions that offer it (at the time of this writing,
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT and
TRON Lightcycle / Run in Magic Kingdom Park). Guests also have the option to purchase an
Individual Lightning Lane for these attractions, if they wish!
Not only will you be able to select attractions through DAS and access virtual queues with the
My Disney Experience app, it can also do so much more! You'll also be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even
mobile order food – my favorite. This is a great way to minimize waits and maximize the fun!
I hope I was able to point you in the right direction today, Tiffanie! If you have any other questions, please visit us again. Remember, you've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
