Does the DAS service allow you to use the extended park hours if you are not staying at a qualified hotel?

    Hello Linda!

Welcome to planDisney. I'm happy to answer all your questions as you prepare for a visit this May. There is so much magic in store I bet you're just bursting with excitement!

The Disability Access Service (DAS) is designed to assist guests who have difficulty waiting in a traditional queue due to a disability. Guests can complete a pre-registration process via video chat to determine eligibility and if approved, set up 2 advanced 1-hour return windows for participating attractions or experiences. Though this service is available to help eligible guests, it's a separate offering from Early Entry for resort guests and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours for guests of Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villa Resorts.

If you happen to be staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel you should be able to utilize DAS during these extended hours, but DAS would not qualify a non-resort guest for access to the parks outside of normal operating hours. Extra time in the parks, access to advance dining reservations for the length of stay, and the ability to purchase Individual Lightning Lanes at 7 a.m. are just some of the many wonderful perks of staying on-site. If you are hoping to enjoy these benefits I'd recommend reviewing resort availability for your travel dates. You may also find a special offer that makes staying on-site an even better value.

I hope this clears up any confusion, Linda. If you have additional questions please feel free to reach out to us again here at planDisney. You are also welcome to contact a Cast Member by phone for assistance.

    Magic and memories,
