Hello Stephanie! Welcome back to planDisney!
I am thrilled to see that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort next weekend. I am even more excited that you will be able to enjoy the
World”s Most Magical Celebration!
Your son will be able to take advantage of the upgraded
Disability Access Service (DAS) Advance planning option. You can pre-register for DAS in advance of your arrival, no sooner than 30 days, but no later than 2 days. before your first park visit. Your registration can be completed
virtually with a Cast Member, to determine if this service is right for your needs.
Before you call, make sure every member of your “
My Family and Friends” list already has a valid Theme Park admission ticket and Theme Park Pass reservation for each park you plan to visit during your trip linked in
My Disney Experience. Once your DAS is approved, the Cast Member will work with you to pre-schedule 2- one hour return time for select experiences. These experiences will appear online in My Disney Experience and your mobile app. These experiences are only valid for the date chosen and the selections cannot be transferred.
Once you have arrived in your chosen park of the day, you can also request DAS return times. Please note that you can only have one active DAS return time at a time. However, you can request your next DAS experience in the My Disney Experience app or from a kiosk, you can still speak with a Cast Member at the attraction’s entrance too.
Stephanie, you can wait until you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort to register for DAS at Guest Relations of any theme park. However, you will not be eligible for the DAS Advance planning one-hour return times for experiences. You will only be able to make same-day DAS requests.
If you have any more questions, please reach out to the
Disability Services Team at (407) 560-2547 or by emailing disability.services@disneyparks.com.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
