Hiya, Keith! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I am happy to help you with information about
Disability Access Service (DAS) to make the trip more magical and enjoyable for you and your daughter.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is aimed towards supporting Guests who may have difficulty standing in queues for extended periods of time. I see you are arriving March 8, which means hopefully you can take advantage of the pre-registration feature through
DAS Advance, which must be completed more than two days before your arrival.
To start the DAS Advance process, click
here and scroll down to the "Request Live Video Chat" button. The Guest requesting DAS must be present on the video call. If you are eligible for DAS, the Cast Member will help with completing registration, and guess what – you’ll be able to request two attractions per day of your visit, ahead of time! Once you’re at
Disneyland Resort, you will be able to schedule return times either using the
Disneyland mobile app or in person at a Guest Services location.
In case you can’t complete DAS Advance in time, no worries. You can still register for DAS upon arrival at Disneyland Resort, at a Guest Services location.
I want to mention you can use
Disney Genie+ service coupled with DAS, which a friend of mine did recently and said it was helpful to have both. With Disney Genie+ you have access to
Lightning Lanes for most major attractions, which is like scheduling return times through DAS. Using both Disney Genie+ and DAS, you can experience more magic in the same amount of time during your day.
Keith, I hope you have a truly magical visit with your daughter. I have many special Disneyland Resort memories with my girls woven through my heart, and I wish the same for you.
