    Das renew

    Hello, Lisa!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney while you plan your visits to the Disneyland Resort. As a fellow Guest like you and a member of a family that has been blessed by the support and inclusivity of the Disneyland Resort’s services for Guests with disabilities, it’s a pleasure for me to provide information and guidance for others.

Because individual needs may change over time, the process of renewing a registration with the Disability Access Service (DAS) is the same as the first time you register. That is, the Guest requesting accommodations through DAS will be interviewed by a Cast Member to identify the best ways Cast Members can support them during their visit to The Happiest Place on Earth. Depending on circumstances, a parent, guardian, or other caregiver may also need to be present during the interview. The interview with an authorized Cast Member may be done in person at any of the various Guest Relations locations throughout the theme parks.

Tony’s Tip: The main Guest Relations locations (City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A., or Chamber of Commerce on Buena Vista Street) are usually busier than other locations. I recommend finding a Cast Member under the distinctive Guest Relations umbrellas at other locations in the parks for shorter wait times.

If your visit to the theme parks is between two and 30 days from now, you may choose to request a video chat meeting with a Cast Member through the Disneyland Resort website instead of an in-person meeting. If your theme park admission is already linked to your account and you have already booked the necessary theme park reservations, just visit the DAS planning and pre-arrival registration page between the hours of 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM Pacific Time and click the “Request Live Chat” button to proceed.

As you get ready to visit Walt Disney's Original Magic Kingdom and Disney California Adventure Park again, I hope you are excited about the many amazing experiences to be found this Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. If you haven’t already, you may be interested in trying some of the delicious limited-time menu items at select dining locations.

    Have a magical time, Lisa!
