    DAS registration at WDW

    Hello Tracee!

Welcome to planDisney! The Disability Access Service is helpful to those with developmental disabilities like autism who have difficulty waiting in a regular line for a long time. To register for this service you will have to wait till you are 30 days or less from the date of your Park visit. Head to the Registration Page and click "Terms and Conditions" at the bottom to begin the chat. The chat is available from 7 AM to 8 PM EST.  Make sure you are using a device with a camera and microphone as you will be having a video chat with a Cast Member. The person who needs the DAS service needs to be with you. There could be a bit of a wait so be patient and have entertainment ready to bide the time.

There are quite a few resources for guests who need accessibility options at Walt Disney World Resort. The Cast Member in the chat can help you find what are the best options but I suggest checking them out yourself! The Attraction Queue Re-Entry is a great option for guests who need to leave the line urgently. I also love using Rider Switch with my son who has some anxiety about certain ride situations. We can take turns enjoying the ride without worrying about ruining my son's day with a difficult experience. It's not just for little kids or height-related reasons and I hope that it is something that be of help to you!

Sending so much pixie dust for all your travels and wishing you the best vacation!

    Happy Planning!

Meet the Panelist: Nimmy, New York

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
