Das registration for child with disability

    Hi there, Natalie,

Welcome to planDisney. I’m happy to help answer your Disney Parks planning questions. As a fellow Guest who has also used DAS, I’m happy to share what I have learned so you can make the most of your visit to the Disneyland Resort.

Disability Access Service (DAS) is a great service to help accommodate Guests who have a disability that makes it difficult to tolerate using a typical standby attraction queue. There are two ways to register for DAS. The most straightforward way is to visit with a Cast Member at one of the several Guest Relations locations throughout the Disneyland Resort. The other way is by clicking on the “Request Live Chat” button on the DAS Advance page between the hours of 9:00 AM and 8 PM Pacific Time. DAS Advance can be used to register for DAS between two and 30 days before you arrive at the Disneyland Resort.

Whether you choose to register for DAS in person or via video chat with DAS Advance, the Guest requiring the service must be present to participate in the interview questions to determine eligibility. It is also important to already have theme park tickets linked to your Disneyland Resort account and have theme park reservations booked.

Tony’s Tip: Guests registered with DAS will use the Disneyland mobile app to select return times for participating attractions. Up to one attraction return time in the current park may be reserved at a time using DAS. For added flexibility and benefits, DAS may be combined with the Disney Genie+ service. Genie+ will allow you to book Lightning Lane return times for select attractions, even if you already have a separate DAS return time reserved for the same or different attraction. One thing I like about using Genie+ is that it allows us to book a Lightning Lane in the other theme park for use after the 11:00 AM Park Hopper time. That way we can efficiently pack even more magic into our day. After we hop over to the other park, we can then also begin making DAS return time reservations.

I hope you have a magical time, Natalie! Feel free to reach out to us here at planDisney if you happen to have any more questions about your visit to the Disneyland Resort.
