I have a ? on DAS. I read that there is really no return time given, so how do I know when to return. Also will the DAS card work for my whole visit or do I need to get a new 1 every day I enter the different parks? Also can you get a DAS from your hotel

    Hi, Christine!

My family recently returned from a very magical 2-week visit to Walt Disney World Resort. My husband is disabled and we used the Disability Access Service (DAS) Card at several attractions in each of the 4 Disney theme parks. I can assure you that DAS Cardholders do indeed receive a specific return time for attractions. That time is equivalent to the current standby wait time minus 10 minutes. For example, if you would like to experience Soarin' at Epcot and the current standby time is 60 minutes at 11:00 AM, the attending Cast Member would write down a return time of 11:50 AM (equivalent to 50 minutes) on your DAS Card. You can then return to Soarin' at 11:50 AM or any time afterward on the same day to experience the attraction. Once you have used your first return time, you may then receive a return time for another attraction you wish to experience.

A DAS Card is valid for up to 14 days. You will not be required to get a new DAS Card each day of your visit. Also, a DAS Card is valid at all 4 theme parks, so there's no problem if you plan to park hop.

You can visit the Guest Relations main entrance location in any of the 4 parks to request a DAS Card and speak with a Cast Member about your individual needs. DAS Cards are not available at the Resort hotels.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
