Hi! DAS question here! I qualify for DAS pass but my next trip I’ll be traveling with a cast member & a guest pass. Is there a way to set up DAS ahead of time with a guest pass? Thanks!

    Hiya Jennifer!

Welcome back to planDisney! I'm glad to see you back and happy to help you out here!

I have a good friend who has visited Walt Disney World Resort in the same way. I reached out to her for some details. It is important that the Cast Member who is giving your their Guest Pass properly assigns them to your My Disney Experience Account. Once it is assigned it should show up on your My Disney Experience Mobile app. You can then enjoy the Parks with your favorite Cast Member alongside you. Don't forget, you will still have to make Theme Park Reservations and you must have everyone who is joining you linked on your Family & Friends List

Once everything is linked then you can proceed to set up your Disability Access Pass. (DAS) If you believe you qualify for DAS then setting that up will not be an issue. You can set it up no more than 30 days and no less than 2 days before your arrival using DAS Advance. A Cast Member will interview you via an online video chat where they will determine if you qualify and then set you up with two DAS Advance selections for each day of your trip beforehand. Of course, it is subject to availability so don't delay! Of course, following what I said about making sure the tickets are showing up on your My Disney Experience App is very important along with making your Theme Park Reservation.

If you have any issues with DAS in the Parks make sure to visit Guest Relations for help! While you're in the Parks make sure to check out the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. The performers for the Eat to the Beat concert series have not been announced yet but timing your visit to when your favorite artist could be performing will make for an amazing day!

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions!

My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
