Hi Courtney,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your important question about
Disability Access Service (DAS) for your family member.
I am happy to inform you that your family member who is under 3 may be eligible for DAS. Even though they will not need theme park tickets to enter, children under 3 are always a Guest of Mickey! Your family member may be registered for the DAS in person at Guest Relations inside any of the theme parks, or they may choose to
pre-register in advance with DAS online. If they choose the option of pre-registering, this may be done from 2-30 days before their arrival. During the registration process, the Cast Member will help them select 2 one-hour Return Times for each day they have valid theme park admission. Each day they visit a theme park they will also be able to select additional DAS Return Times, one at a time.
Courtney, in addition to DAS there are many other resources for
Services for Guests with Disabilities that may be of interest to you. Since your group will be traveling with a young child, I highly recommend
Baby Care Centers for a place to change, rest, and recharge with your little one. There is a Baby Care Center in each theme park and I have often utilized them when my children were very young.
I hope you and your family have a Magical vacation! Be sure to stop by and see us again with all of your vacation planning questions.
See Ya Real Soon,
Brenda
