Will my DAS pass work on the Magic Wristband? Can I include my 5 guests too? Will I be able to book the rides on the magic wristband. Do children with autism qualify for a DAS Pass? How do you qualify for it? Do you need a DR diagnosis?

Hello, Lilian! Welcome to planDisney, I am delighted to assist with your question.

I'm so excited that you will soon be making your way to the Disneyland Resort for a magical visit. One of Disney's core values is inclusivity, and it couldn't be more evident when visiting the Happiest Place on Earth. It sounds like you're familiar with Disability Access Service (DAS). DAS is intended to assist Guests who may not be able to tolerate waiting in a conventional queue. You can pre-register for DAS Advance between 2 and 30 days in advance of your park visit. This will be a live video chat with a Cast Member and available between 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM Pacific Time. Keep in mind the Guest requesting DAS must be present on the call; if the Guest is under 18 years of age, a parent/guardian must also be present. You will need to be logged in to your Disney account before starting the live chat. During registration, the Cast Member will be able to help you book up to 2 one-hour return windows for select attractions, subject to availability.

Lilian, if you haven't already, you'll want to download the Disneyland app for your visit. You will use the app to make DAS selections throughout the day. Also, make sure your party's tickets are linked to your account. When redeeming a DAS return time, you can certainly use your MagicBand+ as long as it is linked to your ticket in your account. Make sure you're also using a MagicBand+ as this is the only type of band that is supported at Disneyland. The Guest utilizing DAS will need to scan in for the return time first, before the rest of the party.

Your trip is not too far away, and the Disney100 Celebration will be in full swing during your stay. One of my favorites, the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, will also be happening during your visit. I love to eat my way through this delicious festival with the help of a Sip and Savor pass. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the festival Foodie Guide that highlights all of the tasty offerings.

Mahalo for your question, Lilian. I hope this has been helpful. I wish you and your party a magical visit. Please come back to visit us at planDisney with any other questions you may have.

    Happy planning,
    Michelle
