Can the DAS pass be used at Blizzard Beach water park in the same manner as the theme parks for my autistic daughter?

    Hi Sharon,

Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for asking us another excellent question!

I visited Walt Disney World Resort recently with two kids who qualified for Disney’s Disability Access Service. I can tell you that the kiddos probably wouldn’t have been able to enjoy their visit nearly as much without it – it really did make the trip possible for both of them.

I can see that you asked a similar question last year, and that my friend Tammy was able to help you out last time. Unfortunately, the answer in 2023 remains the same: the DAS service isn’t available at the Walt Disney World Water Parks, including Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park.

That said, I want to reassure you: we did visit Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park with the two kiddos who qualified for DAS and they had an absolutely wonderful time! By showing up when the Park opened, we were able to do a bunch of the big highlight attractions with minimal waits, and then enjoyed a lazier afternoon enjoying the slides that didn’t have much of a wait at all AND the wave pool. All in all, it was a great day and we didn’t miss the DAS at all.

I hope my answer helps you plan a “splashtacular” day at Blizzard Beach! As always, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
