Greetings, Suzanne!
Welcome to planDisney! The
recent return of Character Greetings was exciting news for Guests! Who doesn't love the opportunity to receive hugs, hi-fives, or autographs from their favorite pals? I am delighted to hear that you are planning to spend some time with some beloved characters during your upcoming visit. Here's all you need to know about character interactions while using the Disability Access Service.
I am delighted to report that Guests using the
Disability Access Service, or DAS Pass can use this service for
select Character Greetings. Some of the experiences available for DAS selections are Meet Mickey and Minnie at Town Square Theater, Meet Princess Tiana and a Visiting Princess at Princess Fairytale Hall, and Meet Olaf at Celebrity Spotlight. These are just a few of the magical friends you can secure a return time to visit with. The
full list of experiences and attractions that you can reserve a return time for through the Disability Access Service can be viewed on the Walt Disney World website! This is a fabulous planning resource that can help your travel party pick their top choices before you arrive. I do want to mention that not all character interactions offer return times. Character experiences that do not have traditional queues like Meet Characters from Aladdin in Adventureland or
Meet Alice in the United Kingdom do not offer return times.
And speaking of return times, did you know that you can
pre-register for the Disability Access Service online before you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort? This can be a real-time saver when you arrive at the parks. Once you register online, you can pick two one-hour return windows for select attractions. You can pre-register 2-30 days before you arrive, so mark your calendar!
I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
Tammy
