Hi Tara!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
I'm excited to see you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort this summer - you must be counting down the days until you're in The Most Magical Place on Earth!
It sounds like you're familiar with Disney's
Disability Access Service, as you've used it on a previous visit. I'm happy to tell you that if it's Character interactions you're looking for, there are several opportunities to use your DAS for Character Greetings! What fun it is to interact with beloved Disney Characters, from princess royalty to Mickey Mouse. There's nothing like a hug from Mickey or Minnie to add a magical moment to your Walt Disney World vacation, and those moments can all be captured by PhotoPass photographers to preserve your precious memories!
My husband has a DAS currently active on his My Disney Experience account, so I checked to see what DAS-Eligible Options for Character Experiences are currently offered on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Here's what I found:
Magic Kingdom Park - Meet Ariel at Her Grotto
- Meet Cinderella and a Visiting Princess at Princess Fairytale Hall
- Meet Mickey at Town Square Theater
- Meet Princess Tiana and a Visiting Princess at Princess Fairytale Hall
Disney's Hollywood Studios - Meet Disney Stars at Red Carpet Dreams
- Meet Olaf at Celebrity Spotlight
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park - Meet Favorite Disney Pals at Adventurers Outpost
Several
Character Experiences do not have traditional queues, such as in EPCOT, where you can
Meet Snow White in Germany in World Showcase. While DAS return times are not offered for these experiences, the lines are typically not very long, as the appearances are limited to 20-30 minutes.
I hope this helps with your planning, and that you get to make magical memories with some of your favorite Disney Characters!
