Hello, Kathy!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so thrilled to see that you have a visit to the
Disneyland Resort planned, you're almost there!
All of the Disney Parks work hard to provide a magical experience for every guest. The
Disability Access Service (DAS) is designed to help guests who have a disability which makes it hard to manage long waits in regular queues. Guests have the ability to video chat with a Cast Member prior to their visit to discuss their specific situation and potentially select some experiences in advance. Here are some more details about a DAS Advance chat:
- The chat must take place no less than 2 days before you arrive at the parks.
- A chat can take place up to 30 days before you visit the parks.
- The guest requesting DAS must be present on the video call, along with a parent or guardian if the guest requesting DAS is a child.
- You must log in to your Disney account before you start your chat.
- You'll need to have valid theme park tickets and park reservations linked to your account for each member of your party who you want to accompany the DAS guest to attractions.
Live chat is available each day from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time. When you're ready, you can
go to this page and click "Request Live Chat" to join the queue for your video chat.
I definitely recommend taking a look at the
attractions and experiences that may be available for DAS access before your video chat, so you have an idea of what you'd like to do on your visit.
Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT at Disney California Adventure Park is a personal favorite of mine if you like thrill rides and amazing music!
Wishing you so much pixie dust for your visit, Kathy! I hope the parks will be a magical experience for your entire party.
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
