Hi there, Shawnee, and welcome to planDisney, where we're all in this together to answer your vacation planning questions! I have my spirit fingers ready and I'm here to support you like a stable base in the proverbial pyramid that is
Walt Disney World Resort.
How exciting that you're attending the National High School Cheerleading Championships this week! The top squads from around the country will be going toe to toe at the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and their athleticism and precision are amazing to watch. I just returned home from the high school dance team Nationals and I can assure you this will be an unforgettable experience!
One extra-special benefit for athletes and spectators is the exclusive Celebration Party, which will be held on Sunday evening from 9:00PM to 1:00 AM at
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Guests will receive a wristband for admission to the event, rather than a hard ticket that can be linked to
My Disney Experience. Please note that wristbands will
not be sold at Hollywood Studios on the night of the event.
I spoke to a helpful Cast Member at Disability Services, who said that you can show your
Disability Access Service (DAS) status in the
My Disney Experience app to use in Hollywood Studios. However, the lines at the Celebration Party are typically not very long (my dancer daughter corroborated this for me!), so you may find that you don't even need to use DAS to enjoy some of your favorite attractions more than once! Here's a list of the attractions scheduled to be open at the party:
Shawnee, I'll be wishing your favorite team a Hit Zero and hoping that you have a wonderful evening at the Celebration party! Please reach out to our planDisney fam anytime if we can help with additional planning questions.
Bet On It,
Susan
