Hi Andrea and welcome back to planDisney!
How exciting that you'll be visiting Walt Disney World next March! It is one of my favorite times of year to visit. The weather is still a bit cool, but still warm enough to spend some time in the Disney Resort hotel pools or splash around in a Disney water park. It's also my birthday month and I love celebrating with a trip to the theme parks!
Disney's
Disability Access Service (DAS) is a fantastic service that offers accommodations for Guests who need accessible experiences while at Walt Disney World. My son uses this service and it has worked out really well for him. When using the service, you can choose one attraction return time at a time. Once you have scanned into your attraction, you can make another selection. It can be for a new attraction or one you have already experienced that day. My son loves to ride Space Mountain in
Magic Kingdom Park, so he will choose that attraction multiple times a day. The only exception to this are the attractions that have a
virtual queue where you need to obtain a boarding group to ride like
TRON Lightcycle / Run, also at Magic Kingdom Park, and
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in
EPCOT. For these two attractions, you can only ride once per day, unless you purchase an additional
Individual Lightning Lane for them.
You can pre-register for the Disability Access Service up to 30 days in advance of your vacation. The advantage of pre-registering is that everything you will need will already be taken care of by the time you get to Walt Disney World and you can choose two attraction return windows per day of your vacation, so you can already start out with two attractions for each day.
Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
