Hey there, hi there, ho there Christopher! You're as welcome as can be here at
planDisney. Thank you for stopping by with your planning question!
You must be getting really excited about your upcoming trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth. It really is around the corner now! You'll actually catch the tail end of the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, and I strongly encourage you not to miss it. The festival actually ends on February 24, so take some time out of your trip to enjoy the fantastic Food Studios, all the art on display and for sale, the DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series, and so much more! My absolute favorite thing to do is leave my own mark by participating in the Paint by Numbers Mural. It's so much fun to know that I've helped create a beautiful mural for my favorite park!
Christopher, the way the
Disability Access Service is a little bit different from the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass service. You could definitely figure out a way to make it work, but you need to time it just right. Let me explain why! DAS will let you and your family members get a return time for any attraction of your choice at any given moment, while Multi Pass is designed for Guests to book a maximum of three Lightning Lane passes in advance and then one at a time as they're redeemed. Since Lightning Lane passes completely depend on availability and DAS doesn't, this could be a hassle for your travel party if you don't maximize both services.
Those of you using DAS could potentially book return times for the attractions that your extra Guest booked Lightning Lane passes for, but you would need to be mindful of the time. If, for example, your fifth party member has a Lightning Lane pass for Pirates of the Caribbean that can be redeemed between 5 and 6 p.m., you'd need to make sure your return time matches theirs. As you can see, this can definitely be done, but you have to pay attention! If you want to make the most out of your DAS pass and your fifth party member's Multi Pass, I suggest having your friend book the earliest Lightning Lane time slots available in advance, and then using that as a template for your family's DAS selections throughout the day.
I hope this makes sense, Christopher! If you still have questions,
please write me a follow-up question so I can assist you further. I'm always available and more than happy to help. Have a magical day!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
