Hey there, Stephen. Welcome to planDisney, the happiest corner of the internet. One of the many things that I love about visiting the Disneyland Resort is how inclusive and accessible they make the parks for all Guests.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is a wonderful service that provides support for Guests who may not be able to wait in a conventional line for an extended period of time due to a developmental disability like autism. To
apply and register for this service ahead of your visit, you will need to have a purchased theme park ticket and have it linked to your MyDisney account. You can request a live video chat with a Cast Member as early as 60 days in advance of your visit, and the chat is available from the Disneyland website from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
If you haven't already, I also recommend taking a look at the
Services for Guests with Disabilities. My husband is visually impaired and not long ago, we discovered that there are tools and resources to enhance his visits to the park. We've used a device provided by the resort for Audio Description for many of the attractions and throughout the park and it's been so helpful.
It's a great time to visit with it being
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. Your visit is creeping up and I hope you enjoy the autumn vibes and all of the gourd-geous decorations. Check out the
Disneyland app for a handy digital guide to all of the festivities.
Stephen, I hope this has been helpful and gets you the information you need for your visit. Let us know if there's anything else that we can help with. Here's wishing you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
