Hiya, Gill!
Welcome to planDisney, friend! I am so very glad that you stopped by with your planning question. It looks like your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is less than two weeks away. How exciting! I am sure that everyone is getting excited as you countdown those last few days until your adventure begins. Let's see if we can cross securing
Disability Access Service off your magical to-do list before you arrive.
If you would like to register for the Disability Access Service, or DAS, before you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, you can do so online.
Pre-registration is available 30 days prior to your theme park arrival but no less than two days before. This registration takes place via a video chat with a friendly Cast Member. Before requesting a chat, be sure that you have created a
My Disney Experience account, linked any
upcoming reservations, and
added any Family & Friends that will be joining you. These steps are essential if the DAS is approved because a Cast Member will be able to set up two one-hour window return times for
select experiences during your call. This is a great tool for getting a head start on your park day planning. Once your My Disney Experience account is ready to go, you can request a chat between the hours of 7 AM and 10 PM ET. I suggest requesting a chat early, as some wait times have been longer than expected. The individual requesting the DAS must be present on the call.
I do have one last planning tip to offer before your arrival date. Currently, all four theme parks require a
Park Pass reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. This spring is an amazing time to visit, and
some dates have limited availability. If you have not already made your reservations, I recommend doing so as soon as possible. I would feel absolutely terrible if you missed out on visiting your favorite park because reservations were no longer available.
I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
Tammy
