Is a DAS considered an acrive entitlement

Hiya Chris - welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by with a question today - we love to help Guests like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

The Disability Access Service (DAS) provides assistance to Guests who might otherwise have difficulty utilizing the standard standby queues while waiting for an attraction. Guests based in the United States can pre-register online starting 30 days prior to (but at least 2 days before) their visit.

Guests registered with DAS are able to use the My Disney Experience Mobile App inside the Theme Parks to select return times for attractions. Return times are typically the length of the wait in the normal standby queue, but DAS Guests are able to spend that time wherever they are most comfortable in the park. When you return to the attraction at your return time, you'll use the Lightning Lane to access the attraction! Only one active return time can be held at a time, and a registered DAS Guest may include up to five additional Guests in each return time selection.

Chris, the term "entitlement" has meant a few different things to Mickey over the years, but typically referred to the number of visits available on some multi-day Theme Park Tickets, or the number of dining credits available on a Disney Dining Plan. I'm not sure I completely understand your question, but please know that DAS is a service that can only be used in conjunction with valid Theme Park Admission (e.g., Annual Pass, Theme Park Ticket) and a valid Park Pass Reservation. Simply registering for DAS does not include Theme Park Admission.

I'm not sure if this is helpful or not, so please follow up with another question if you need more information!
