Hiya Sal! It is nice to see you back here at planDisney! We love having Guests come back year after year to ask us questions.
Disability Access Service (DAS) assists Guests who have difficulty tolerating a traditional queue due to a disability. DAS allows the Guest to request a return time for an attraction so they may wait in a more comfortable environment that better suits their needs. When Guests are issued DAS, they will have a self-selection tool available in the
My Disney Experience app to request a return time for an available attraction. The return time will be based on the attraction's current standby wait time. Guests may only have one active return time and can request another after experiencing the attraction (or canceling their current DAS return time.) The self-selection tool will become active after the first time you enter a theme park during your visit.
Guests who
pre-register for DAS via live video chat may make up to 2
DAS Advance selections per day. The DAS Advance selections are considered bonus selections and are completely independent of DAS attractions reserved with the self-selection tool. Your DAS Advance selection for
Slinky Dog Dash will have no bearing on the attractions you may choose with the self-selection tool.
Keep in mind that any DAS Advance selections you have made are for a specific 1-hour time window. If you are unable to use them during that time, they will simply expire. A DAS return time booked with the self-selection tool does not expire, but must be redeemed or canceled in order to request a return time for another attraction. You can even use the self-selection tool to request a return time for the same attractions as your DAS Advance selections if you wish.
Sal, I hope that helps! If you need further clarification on how DAS works or have any additional questions, please feel free to visit us here at planDisney again. Enjoy your stay!
