Hi Darcie,Thinking about going to Boatwright's then carriage ride @ Port Orleans. Is this the most romantic scenery for a carriage ride or would another place for carriage ride be more romantic? How long does it take to get from MK to POR? Thanks for help.

Hi there, Nicholas.  I hope my mom friends came through with some great suggestions for your special evening!  And thanks for following up with me for part two of your question.

As for which resort would provide a more romantic backdrop for your carriage ride, I'm partial to Port Orleans Riverside.  I've done the carriage ride at Fort Wilderness during Christmas and while that was certainly a festive event, I wouldn't use the term romantic, necessarily.  Port Orleans, though, boasts gorgeous landscaping made all the more charming by the lighting at night.  Not to mention the fact that after your ride, you could always stroll along the Sassagoula River hand in hand.  I think you're on the right track with your plan so far.

When using Disney transportation, you should allow about twenty minutes.

I hope that helps.  And don't hesitate to ask any further questions.
