? for Darcie. I will be staying at the shades of green and was wondering if the walking path to the poly is well lit? Also I will be 4 month preg....is it a pretty short walk or should we drive to the TTC?

First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy!  You shouldn't have any trouble seeing the way along the path from Shades of Green to the Polynesian, at least we didn't have any problems when we stayed there in 2005.

The walk between the two places isn't bad at all, especially compared to the mileage you'll be covering in the parks.  I would say that with our three children it took us roughly ten minutes.  At the end of the day you will likely be tired already so you may want to use the bus to the TTC at that point.

You might call the Shades of Green and ask if they still do the "golf cart shuttle" to the edge of the property.  If so, that would be a great resource to help relieve some of the pressure on your weary feet!  Hope that helps.

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
