Darcie, can u please explain in detail how the charging priv. work on the KTTWC. Do they authorize an amount on the debit card and then take off what is needed when u check out, or do they just charge ur card at the checkout date? can u use 2 diff. cards?

Good question, Lezlie.  I hope I can help.  Here's how it works: when you check-in, you will be given the option to include charging privileges on your Key To The World Card.  You can opt to have the privilege on all or some of the Key To The World cards.  If you do want charging privileges, you will need to leave a credit (or debit) card on file.  If you use a debit card, Disney will authorize a hold on the card for a specified amount (which varies by resort).  Those funds will be temporarily unavailable.  They actually put the charge through when your spending reaches that predetermined amount.  At that point, they will start over and put another hold on that same predetermined amount.  If you use a credit card, they will not charge the card until your spending reaches that predetermined amount.  You can always preempt the processing of the actual charge by going to the resort lobby and applying cash or gift cards to your room account.  When doing so, though, you'll need to be sure to make the payment before your spending reaches the limit.  As for leaving multiple cards, I was assured by a Cast Member that you are permitted to leave multiple cards at check-in and that you can specify which is to be charged first.  For my personal comfort level, that leaves a bit too much room for error; I'd be concerned with bank fees if the Cast Member makes a mistake.  Definitely do what you're comfortable with, but consider maybe leaving one card on file and applying a cash payment in the meantime with ATM funds from the second card.  I hope I cleared things up.
