Hi Darcie! I love reading all of your responses. I know packages come out tomorrow so I am trying to figure out what we want. Contemporary or Polynesian? Jan 27th week or April 16th week? Really want a theme park view. Kids 12,10, and 6. Thanks

Hey Vickie!  You totally made my morning with that compliment.  Thank you!  As for your trip, I would definitely recommend sticking with the week in January over the week in April.  Doing so will save you the trouble of dealing with Spring Break crowds.  You'll get so much more mileage out of your trip if you can avoid popular travel periods.  The tougher decision is whether you should call the Contemporary or the Polynesian your home away from home.  While both offer the convenience of the monorail, I find the rooms at the Contemporary to be a bit more aesthetically pleasing, but that's really a matter of personal preference.  Because you're traveling with three children, you might be swayed by the fact that standard rooms at the Contemporary are very slightly larger (by 13 square feet) than those at the Polynesian.  Another consideration is that--based on 2012 room rates--a Magic Kingdom view at the Contemporary is cheaper to come by than one at The Polynesian.  Bringing dining in to play might help you with your decision.  I see you enjoyed breakfast at 'Ohana during your last trip.  Perhaps a stay at the Contemporary and a meal at Chef Mickey's this time would be in order.  The Wave (also at the Contemporary) is a family-favorite for us.  Do keep in mind that California Grill will be closed for an extensive rehab during your stay, so don't let that particular restaurant factor into your decision.

Rereading my answer, it seems as though all signs point to the Contemporary.  It truly wasn't an intentional push in that direction, but maybe that one just makes sense for your family this time?  Truly, you can't go wrong either way.  If I've sparked any further food for thought, don't hesitate to ask again; I'm happy to help!
