When is Dapper Day? I saw somewhere talking about it being April 27th but I couldn’t find it on the Disney website and I don’t remember where I saw it.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Paul! Every year, I absolutely love looking at pictures of guests all dressed up for Dapper Day: an unofficial yearly gathering of Disney fans who celebrate their fandom through exquisitely creative vintage fashion looks. It has become so popular that it has expanded from being a yearly tradition at Disneyland Resort to a convention-style event that includes spring and fall Dapper Days at Walt Disney World Resort, and even a springtime event at Disneyland Paris.

The reason why you won't find this event on the official calendar is that, even though it takes place within the theme parks, it is 100% fan run and managed! You are right, and this year's spring outing takes place on April 27 at Magic Kingdom Park and on April 28 at Epcot. These dates fall right at the beginning of your vacation, so you might get to see some guests out and about in some really beautiful and well-themed outfits. It's also a great opportunity to dress up yourself and get some great pictures on Main Street U.S.A.!

Of course, you can be dapper at Walt Disney World Resort any day of the year. Whenever I'm on vacation, I always see creative guests who have themed their everyday outfits to their favorite characters. It's so popular now that it even has a name: Disney Bounding! Check out this post on the Disney Parks Blog featuring some guests Disney Bounding as their favorite female Disney characters to celebrate International Day of the Girl.

    Have a magical day, Paul!
