I see a DAP is available to request online via video chat and we can prebook 2 ride attractions per day. Are the times preselected for us or do we pick what times we want to return? Also, at what point can we make another return times? When we use both?

Greetings, and welcome to planDisney, Christina!

Disney’s Disability Access Service commonly referred to as the DAS is an accommodation that will afford Guests, who because of their disability, may experience challenges waiting at an attraction queue which has a long wait time. The DAS will enable registered Guests, or those in their travel party on the DAS Guestlist, to self-select a return time for attractions, enabling the Guest with the DAS to rest, grab a bit to eat or shop while waiting for their return time. It is one of many inclusive and thoughtful accommodations listed in the many Services for Guests with Disabilities.

For the DAS Advance pre-registration option virtually, from 2 days to 30 days before your arrival, you will consult with a Cast Member, and if deemed appropriate, in consultation with the Cast Member, selections for 2 one-hour arrival windows for attractions will be made, pending availability from a list of available attractions and specific arrival window times to choose from (subject to change). Of particular importance, the Guest who needs the DAS accommodation must be present for pre-registration with the DAS Advance, or in-person at any Guest Relations inside any Walt Disney World Resort theme park.

Upon arrival at the theme park, the registered DAS Guest, or DAS Guestlist members, may be able to self-select return times, one at a time, from the My Disney Experience app, a nearby Guest Experience Team kiosk, or at an attraction entrance. Please remember that the Guest registered for the DAS must be present when boarding the attraction. Of note, “And a party can only hold one active DAS return time at once (not counting DAS Advance ride times)” from Request a Return Time - How it Works section.

Please ensure you have updated your travel party in your Family & Friends list in your Disney account, that your travel party has valid Walt Disney World Resort theme park admission and a Disney Park Pass - Theme Park Reservation.

I hope this information is helpful, Christina, thank you for consulting planDisney!
