Dannee, I am the Mom of 3, ages 10, 6 & 18 mths old. We are going to Disney around June or July. Which month would be the best time to go as far as lines and crowds? Second I wanted to know where would be the best place to stay (ie: close to the parks)

Hi Arnetria! The first 2 weeks of June are usually a better time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Although July is traditionally a busier time, I am a Summer Baby and enjoy the warm, Florida Sun in the month of July. It has quickly become my favorite time of the year to visit. Although, I usually plan July 4th as a Resort day, a day for pool time and activities at the Resort hotel, because it is an extremely busy day at the Parks.

I would recommend Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, but I am very biased. As a Disney Vacation Club member, it is one of my Resort homes and my family enjoys the wonderful scenery. It is closest to Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, however a bit far from Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. I really enjoy Disney Bus Transportation and look forward to the cool, air conditioned ride between the Resort hotel and the Parks, so I do not mind the distance.

Your children would really enjoy the Bunk Beds and the Savanna View of the animals. Not to mention the pool (with an awesome slide), the arcade, the animal programs (like viewing animals at night with Night Vision Goggles!), Movies Under the Stars, and a 24-hour playground (the Hakuna Matata Playground truly is worry free).

I would love to help you plan your vacation and answer any additional questions. Hope this helps.
