I have a dairy free child. Any recommendations for getting soy or almond milk in the parks?

    Hi DonnaMarie,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a great question about finding dairy alternatives in Walt Disney World Resort’s Theme Parks.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that several individual servings of soy and almond milk were available for purchase at most of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels I’ve stayed in recently. As for the Theme Parks, although in past years dairy milk alternatives were relatively difficult to find, I’ve noticed that these options are expanding at both quick service and table service restaurants.

After asking a few of my dairy-sensitive friends, they pointed me towards an unofficial site called “Gluten Free & Dairy Free WDW” (www.glutenfreedairyfreewdw.com). That site not only has a list of dairy-free dining alternatives available at Walt Disney World Resort (look under “Dining Resources”, but it also seems to have comprehensive coverage of the types of treats that your child can have during your upcoming visit , even including coverage of the 2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival!

If you want a more official list and information about what should be available to your family during your upcoming vacation, please contact the Special Dietary Requests team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com.

I hope my answer helps you plan a healthy and safe vacation for your family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
