It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Steven!
I have a confession to make: I'm addicted to
Disney pins, and collecting and trading pins is one of my favorite things to do when I'm at Walt Disney World Resort. I get separated from my friends and family pretty frequently because I am always on the hunt for new pins to add to my collection. I always pick up a new pin when I visit a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel for the first time, and every time I
meet a Disney Character I have to find a pin featuring them wearing the outfit they had on when I met them! Trading pins with Cast Members is one of my favorite ways to spend some extra downtime in the theme parks and Resort Hotels, and it's led to some great conversations and even some pretty magical moments.
There are some times where you can even find some fun pin trading events happening inside the theme parks. Sometimes a merchandise location will bring out a special pin board with a really big selection to choose from! I've also seen Cast Members set up an impromptu trivia game with mystery pins as rewards for correct answers, so there's never a shortage of fun pin trading activity going on. At
Magic Kingdom Park, I've seen cool pin events happen pretty regularly in the mornings outside of
Curtain Call Collectibles, and in the afternoons at
Big Top Souvenirs but since those aren't official events in the daily schedule and are subject to change at any time, double-check with a Cast Member when you get there to make sure you don't miss them! If you're looking to trade pins, remember to ask at merchandise and dining locations if they have pin books or pin boards, because a lot of them have some really fun ones to look at. You can also trade pins with any Cast Member with a pin lanyard or pouch, so keep your eyes open when you're walking around!
Have a magical day, Steven!
