Hello moms and dads, We are travelling in Feb 2012 with Disney Wonder cruise line from LA to Mexico for 7 nights. We have a 5 years old daughter and a baby boy will be 6 months by then.I am wondering what type of cloths we need for ourselves and kids ?

    Hi, Arezoo!

My family and I sailed on the Disney Wonder in November to the Mexican Riviera -- we loved the colorful ports of call, the adventurous shore excursions and the warm sun, sea and sand.  I packed a variety of clothes for our group since it was quite hot during the day, and it could get chilly on the ship in the evenings.

Here are a few packing suggestions straight from my list:

    • Shorts, t-shirts, sandals (durable for walking) -- daytime temperatures can get into the high 80s (F)
    • Swimsuits, coverups, sandals, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses -- lots of wet Port Adventures!
    • Evening wear -- for formal and semi-formal nights on the ship
    • Pirate night -- eye patches, hats, piratical costumes...anything to bring out your "Arrrggh!"
    • Princess costume -- if your little princess has a Disney princess dress, she'll feel right at home alongside the older versions on board -- and it doubles for formal night, too!

This will get you started with your packing, but if you have any more questions, please come back and visit me here again. Congratulations on your Disney Cruise, and have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
