Hello moms and dads. I'm staying at the Contemporary, arriving in 5 days! We have a tower room, lagoon view. What's the best floor/room? What do you recommend? I always make a request and have always been lucky. 3 kids aged 9,6 and 2. Thanks!

Mona, only five days until you are in the middle of the magic and holiday festivities! Your children must be so excited that they are unable to sit still long enough to watch even ten minutes of an ABC Family Christmas show.

The monorail only a few floors below! The Magic Kingdom only a short walk away! The Electric Water Pageant outside your window! Disney's Contemporary Resort is a fabulous choice. Though I have found the rooms to be practically sound proof, request a room on the end opposite Chef Mickey's to cut down on any potential noise from excited guests enjoying an early morning character breakfast. The higher the floor, the better the view tends to be so request an upper floor. I have irrational fears involving my children and balconies far above the ground so on our last stay here we were on a lower floor directly above the gift shop and loved the location.

In just a few short days you will be making the short walk to the Magic Kingdom. Enjoy! Please visit the WDW Moms Panel again if you have any additional questions.
