    Hi Moms and Dads! My 17 yr old daughter would like to know if there is anywhere in the Pirates of the Caribbean part of MK to buy a Pirates Costume? We will be there in 18 days. Thanks so much for your help!

    Hi Patricia!  Thanks for coming back to the Moms Panel with your question.  Your Walt Disney World vacation will be here in no time - you all must be getting very excited!  Finding the answer to your question was almost like searching for buried treasure - I finally made a call to The Pirates League in the Magic Kingdom.  The Cast Member there told me that they do sell adult-sized pirate costumes, but that you have to be having a pirate makeover in order to purchase one.  Perhaps your daughter would like to have a complete transformation, including Pirate makeup? If you click the link I provided above, you will find all of the info and phone number to call for reservations.  I also spoke to Guest Services and the Cast Member there told me that The Emporium on Main Street U.S.A. has a pirate section and that they are listed as having pirate costumes in all sizes.  I'm also pretty sure I have seen adult costumes in the gift shop at the exit to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, so you may want to check there as well.

    I hope this gives you a couple of places to search for the elusive Pirate costume that your daughter is looking for.  I would be happy to answer any other questions you have, and I wish you a very bounty-filled vacation at Walt Disney World!
