Hi Moms & Dads! Going to WDW in April with my BF for the first time. Using the QSDP. He has a severe peanut and tree nut allergy. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Melissa!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As a mom and aunt to kids with food allergies, I know first-hand that it can sometimes be challenging to find safe foods when dining out. Our family has found that Walt Disney World Resort does a fantastic job at accommodating our family's allergies. Each Quick Service restaurant will keep an ingredient list for their menu items on hand. So your boyfriend can speak to the Cast Member at the restaurant when he orders to inform them of his allergy and find something on the menu that is both safe and tasty.

In managing my son's allergies, I find it really useful to have a plan of restaurants that may be able to safely accommodate us. I like to consult www.allergyeats.com/disney before my trip to get an idea of Quick Service restaurants that may be able to accommodate our specific allergies and have a menu that we think we will enjoy. This way, I can minimize the risk of disappointment during our trip when we choose a restaurant only to find it isn't safe for my son. Overall, I think you will find the Cast Members at all of the restaurants very helpful and will do their best to be sure your boyfriend has a safe and fun trip!

Be sure to check out this additional resource for Special Dietary Requests at Walt Disney World Resort. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
