Hi moms and dads the trip to WDW in 2011 was GREAT! Thank for all of the advice . I have another ?. I read that you can make payment on your vac. Im planning to go in 2013 . How far in advance can you make payments on your trip?

    Hi there, Chris!

There are three ways you might consider paying off a vacation.

Booking a trip directly through the Walt Disney Travel Company at (407) W-DISNEY will offer you the freedom to pay as much as you'd like, whenever you want, provided our vacation is paid in full 45 days prior to the start date of your trip. The deposit to hold and book your trip is $200.

You can use the Disney Parks Web site to manage the finances for your Magic Your Way vacation package. Keep track of how much you owe and make payments online. Please remember that the entire balance must be paid off no later than 45 days prior to your arrival.

Any changes to your reservation (shortening or lengthening your stay, for example, or changing Resorts) will come with a $50 service fee..

Nonrefundable travel insurance is always added to your package. You can only opt out of it while you are on the phone with Cast Member during your initial reservation call.

Note that this only applies to Magic Your Way packages purchased directly through Disney World. The payment terms are not available for single ticket purchases or separate hotel room reservations.

The Disney Visa has a generous financing policy when you use the card to book a Disney vacation. You can call (800) 300-8575 to initiate the application process with Chase Bank.

Many travel agencies work in partnership with Disney, and offer customers a variety of payment options. You might want to look up "authorized Disney travel agency" and find one that indicates payment plans are available. AAA is always a good place to start.

Have a wonderful time on your special birthday trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
