Hi Moms and Dads! Traveling 11/20-12/9 staying at Contemporary Theme Park View, what floor should I ask for to have the best view of MK during Fireworks???? Thanks!

    Hi, Cassandra!

You are going to be amazed by the views of the Magic Kingdom from the Contemporary rooms that have a theme park view!  I felt like a Disney commercial as we fell asleep watching Cinderella Castle from our cozy beds when my family stayed there!

The higher your room, the better the view is going to get.   We stayed on the 6th floor, and while this is on the "lower" end of the options, we still had a great view each night of Wishes!  Regardless of your room, as long as you are in the Tower on the side facing the Magic Kingdom, your views will be breathtaking.  The advantage of a higher room (around the 9th floor or higher would be nice!) will be a bit less road noise when you are on your balcony (the parking lot is right in front of the resort) and while I never found this to be a problem, some say they can hear all the celebrating at Chef Mickey's on the 4th floor.

Enjoy your stay at this super resort.  My family has been to Disney dozens of times, but our stay in a Tower Room at the Contemporary is a vacation that really left an impression on us all! I hope you make as many magical memories as we did, ENJOY!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
