Hi Moms and Dads! We're 1st timers coming to WDW next month. Have DDP. I know the receipts we get at restaurants will keep track of remaining meals; do they list separate tallies for kids' and adults' CS meals? Will it matter? Thanks!

Hi, Krista! Oh, yeah...first time at WDW? I'm doing a little happy dance thinking of how much fun you're going to have! Yes, after you use each type of credit on your Disney Dining Plan, you will see the remaining total number of credits for adults and children (separately) on your receipt. (I had a cast member explain it to me after the first time I used it to make sure I understood.)

Yet, one of the nuances of the program is that it will only show you your remaining credits for the particular type of meal credit you used. However, any cast member at a restaurant can "run" the card separately and print out a receipt for each of the types -- table service, quick service and snacks. (I'm assuming that they can show you remaining wine entitlements also from the Wine & Dine plan.) At any time, the concierge from your Disney resort can also provide you with information about your remaining meal credits and/or a receipt outlining what is left on your DDP.

I hope this helps! Let us know if we can answer any more questions for you. Have a wonderful day and a most magical vacation!
