Hello Moms And Dads!! Do you think the Hoop Dee Doo Revue is too old for my 3&4 year olds? What dinner shows would you recommend for their ages??”
Hi Donna,
The Hoop Dee Doo Review is a great dinner show. It's interactive, includes lots of slap stick comedy and some great musical numbers. In my opinion, however, this particular dinner show is a bit more suited to kids who are slightly older than yours. For young kids, I recommend Mickey's Backyard BBQ, which, like Hoop Dee Doo, is held at Fort Wilderness Campground. The BBQ takes place at a huge, covered pavilion and features a Country Western Band. During the show, Disney Characters, including Mickey, Minnie, Goofy Chip and Dale hit the dance floor along with the audience. In my opinion, this show offers unprecedented access to the characters. I have some amazing photos of my kids "cutting a rug" with their favorite Disney pals. The menu includes baked chicken, ribs, hot dogs, corn on the cob, baked beans, corn bread, watermelon, beer, wine, dessert and soft drinks. Seating is open, on large picnic-style tables.
Both dinner shows are great ways to end a perfect Disney day, but for younger children, Mickey's Backyard BBQ would be my first choice.
Have a great time!
