Hi Mom's (and dads!)...we are taking our 4 and 2 yo DD's for 2nd trip in Aug! Surprising them by just taking them to the airport on departure day! Any great ideas for ways for us to tell them where we are going on the plane? THANKS! LOVE YOU ALL~

    Hi Kristen!
I absolutely love your idea and how I wish I could see their faces when they figure it out! A great idea is to casually tell them you have a conference or job related event somewhere far away. Spend a couple of days mentioning the fact that they will have to accompany you to this work thing. Once on the plane, you could give them a card or a gift box with a picture of Cinderella Castle or the Princesses. You could bring a Disney related puzzle and once it's finished ask them if they would like to see it up close. They will definitely start asking questions.
We did a similar thing with our kids last year. We hired a car service (not a taxi so they wouldn't suspect anything), and told them there were no parking spaces where we were going. My son was suspicious when he saw the strange car. As soon as my son realized we were near the airport he asked if we were going on a plane. We couldn't help it and told them we were going to Orlando. "Are we going to Disney?" When we said yes, they started crying. They were happy tears, of course. Hope this helps!
Have a magical, pixie dust filled vacation!
