    Hello Mom's and Dad's we will be surprising our kids with a last minute trip in late Feb will my son 4 be able to see any star wars characters or are they only seen during star wars weekend in the summer?

    Hey Mary!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  What a fantastic surprise! My boys and I are also headed to Walt Disney World in February and love having a Star Wars experience.  There is Star Wars excitement all year long at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Since your son will be 4-years old he is at a great age to battle a Lord of the Sith!  The Jedi Training Academy held at Disney's Hollywood Studios is an experience he will never forget. My sons have both done it.  Your padawan will be able to see Darth Vader and Stormtroopers while being instructed by a Jedi Master. Make sure your video camera is ready to capture this magical moment.  We even prepared our sons for the training by watching videos online. Just search for "Disney Jedi Training" in your favorite web browser. Jedi Training is offered many times during the day so arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled opening to secure your preferred time.  This is a highly desired attraction for Star Wars fans. Personally, I always check the park times schedule that may be picked up at entrance or online.  May the Force be With You!
